The profile of our new Swiss-made Bio Vinyl plinth consists of biomass residues from wood processing (tall oil), which drastically reduces the CO2 footprint. Compared to conventionally manufactured PVC (petroleum), over 90% of greenhouse gases (CO2) are saved during production . This is an important step towards a circular bioeconomy without compromising on quality.
The base is Minergie ECO certified. 
In addition to all these advantages, it has the same properties as conventional PVC:
- Impact and shock resistant
- Largely resistant to acids and alkalis
- vermin resistant
- flame retardant
- No water absorption
- Individually moldable, can be bent warm
- Durable (100 years)
- recyclable
- Screwless mounting
The bio vinyl hard foam base can be manufactured in all Düco standard colors.
